The European Digital Innovation Hub for AI and Cybersecurity (DAISEC) supports companies from the production, mobility and skilled crafts sectors as well as the public sector in Lower Saxony in the application and development of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity.
KISSKI is one of four AI service centres that have been funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) since November 2022 to advance AI research in Germany and promote its transfer into applications. The focus of KISSKI is on medicine and energy, which are among the fields of application-oriented AI research in Germany. A central concern of KISSKI is to provide small and medium-sized enterprises with effective access to AI infrastructure, methods and expertise.
CAIMed is the Lower Saxony research center for artificial intelligence and causal methods in medicine. The center aims to use the potential of AI for healthcare and personalized medicine and to promote the clinical application of AI. By linking excellent locations in Lower Saxony for methodical AI research, data-intensive medicine, medical informatics and basic medical research, a unique beacon for research into AI and personalized medicine is being created.
The L3S Research Center is internationally renowned for its leading-edge research in artificial intelligence. It focusses its AI-related research activities on developing methods and systems in the areas of Text Mining and Search, Knowledge Graphs and Data Integration, Natural Language Processing, Scene and Video Analysis as well as Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
