L3S Director Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Nejdl will remain the most important computer scientist in Lower Saxony in 2025. This is the result of a ranking recently released by research.com, a leading academic platform for researchers.
Prof. Nejdl has ranked 896 in the world ranking and 34 in Germany. He has also been recognized with the Computer Science Leader Award for 2025.
The ranking is based on D-index (Discipline H-index) metric, which only includes papers and citation values for an examined discipline. The ranking includes only leading scientists with D-index of at least 30 for academic publications made in the area of Computer Science.
