The call for applications for the second cohort of the eXplainable Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Management Masters (xAIM) program has opened. This marks another important milestone in addressing the digital skills gap in healthcare. The innovative online master’s program focuses on the application of explainable AI in healthcare, and aims to equip healthcare professionals and computer scientists with the skills necessary to navigate the evolving landscape of AI in healthcare.

Recognizing the increasing importance of AI in healthcare globally, the xAIM program was created to meet the growing demand for professionals trained in the use of AI to address healthcare challenges. Supported by a grant from the Connecting Europe Facility in Telecom (project INEA/CEF/ICT/A2020/2276680), the program aims to foster the development of highly skilled individuals capable of bridging the gap between AI and healthcare.

The xAIM program lasts three semesters and offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes both theoretical knowledge and practical exercises. In keeping with the evolving nature of education, the xAIM program is taught entirely online, allowing students from around the world to access program materials and interact with instructors and peers.
