Kurt Schneider is Head of the  Software Engineering Group within Computer Science at the Leibniz University Hannover.

Forschungsschwerpunkte

Scalable methods for preparation and analysis of large heterogeneous data sources:

  • Novel algorithms and systems for automated data preparation
  • extraction and cleaning as a prerequisite for data science workflows

-Manager of research projects (e.g., Software Experience Center SEC), joint projects with international partner companies and Daimler business units
-Initiation and Lead of the “Experience-based software improvement” working group
-Research initiative on agile and light-weight methods at Daimler
-Teaching University classes in Ulm and Jena. Supervisor of student theses 

since 2003 Head of the Software EngineeringiGroup within Computer Science, Leibniz Universität Hannover.
