Die L3S is governed by a Board of Directors led by the Executive Director.
The driving force behind the L3S work on trustworthy AI and methods and technologies for the Digital Transformation are the Mitglieder, which include more than 30 outstanding researchers from various disciplines such as Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Natural Science, and Sociology.
With 5 group leaders and around 200 researchers, the L3S is one of the largest AI institutes in Germany.
The L3S is supported by a productive staff team in the areas of Administration, Communications, and Information Technology.
