The L3S Research Center, Hannover, Germany, invites applications for
PhD position (m / f / d) - Artificial Intelligence (EntgGr. 13 TV-L, 100%), to be filled as soon as possible.
The position is initially limited to December 31, 2022 and offers the opportunity to do PhD. The scope of the job corresponds to 100% of the collectively agreed working hours.
As part of the HAISEM-lab project, you will transfer expertise in the areas of artificial intelligence and in particular in machine learning with a focus on special hardware, to industrial participants of the courses and events organized in the project. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the industrial participants on current industry topics. Your task is to independently work on relevant research questions and sub-projects together with project partners as well as to publish research results at international conferences and in specialist journals.
Employment requirements
The prerequisite for employment is a completed academic degree (master's or diploma) in computer science or a similar field. Ideally, you also have in-depth knowledge in the focus areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning. You should have the ability and willingness to work with experts from various scientific and technical disciplines as well as from industry. In addition, a very good command of German and English, both verbally and in writing, is expected.
