Prof. Nejdl spoke about AI in front of 120 participants at Indy4 conference
L3S Director Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Nejdl was a speaker on artificial intelligence at the "Digital Perspectives" conference held at HANNOVER MESSE on April 4, 2019. In front of 120 participants, experts and company representatives reported on the status and prospects of digitization in Lower Saxony. The conference was organized by Indy4, an interdisciplinary network of experts on industry 4.0 in Lower Saxony - in cooperation with the Kompetenzzentrum Mittelstand 4.0, the Digitalagentur of Lower Saxony, the cluster Automotive Nord and several IT clusters.
The conference focused on digitization examples and experiences of companies in Lower Saxony, e.g. in networking and production planning at Conti. "Lower Saxony is also a leader in the development and research of artificial intelligence in certain areas," Prof. Nejdl emphasized. Other thematic blocks were devoted to data security and the integration of employees on the way to digitization.
