{"id":34116,"date":"2024-07-22T16:05:11","date_gmt":"2024-07-22T14:05:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.l3s.de\/?p=34116"},"modified":"2024-07-23T11:32:28","modified_gmt":"2024-07-23T09:32:28","slug":"l3s-will-host-capes-humboldt-research-fellow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.l3s.de\/de\/l3s-will-host-capes-humboldt-research-fellow\/","title":{"rendered":"CAPES-Humboldt-Forschungsstipendiat kommt ans L3S"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Bruno Jos\u00e9 Torres Fernandes, assoziierter Professor an der Universit\u00e4t Pernambuco in Recife, Brasilien, kommt im Oktober als CAPES-Humboldt-Forschungsstipendiat an das Forschungszentrum L3S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die brasilianische Wissenschaftsf\u00f6rderorganisation CAPES (Coordenac\u0327a\u0303o de Aperfeic\u0327oamento de Pessoal de Ni\u0301vel Superior) und die Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung haben 2013 das CAPES-Humboldt-Forschungsstipendienprogramm ins Leben gerufen, um Postdocs sowie erfahrene Forscher aus Brasilien bei ihren Forschungsvorhaben in Deutschland zu unterst\u00fctzen. Als Stipendiat profitiert Fernandes von der individuellen Betreuung durch die Humboldt-Stiftung und ihren vielf\u00e4ltigen F\u00f6rderleistungen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Am L3S wird sich Fernandes mit dem Forschungsprojekt \u201eSelf-supervised Deep Federated Learning for Anomalous Gesture Detection\u201c befassen und mit L3S-Forschungsgruppenleiter Dr. Nicol\u00e1s Navarro-Guerrero zusammenarbeiten, der bereits den Antrag f\u00fcr das Forschungsstipendium unterst\u00fctzt hat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fernandes wird zun\u00e4chst bis Anfang Januar 2025 am L3S bleiben, ein einj\u00e4hriger Forschungsaufenthalt folgt im Juli 2025.
