The progressive integration of European states is associated with a steady increase in topics and events that have a strong influence on European citizens and the digital economy beyond language and national borders. This\r\n development leads to a large amount of information about relevant events in different languages, coming from different population groups and sources. Such information may differ between these sources in terms of their localization,\r\n reflecting certain societal aspects, containing culturally specific references and containing both opinions and potentially incomplete or non-representative data. The main research objective of the Cleopatra ITN is therefore\r\n the effective and efficient analysis of event-based information in different languages from heterogeneous sources in order to present the results of the analysis to users in an understandable way. The user focus is particularly\r\n on journalists, researchers in the digital humanities and memory institutions.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n
