Artificial intelligence will fundamentally change production – not only technical systems and the associated processes, but also the professional field of engineers and technicians. After all, someone must be able\r\n to develop, adapt, use or maintain the intelligent systems. But there are still hardly any employees in small and medium-sized companies who are familiar with this. Several studies have shown that a lack\r\n of know-how and skilled personnel in the German economy is slowing down the implementation of AI solutions – and thus threatening competitiveness.<\/p>\r\n

Das\u00a0L3S<\/em>\u00a0schafft seit 2018 Abhilfe mit dem KI-Qualifizierungsprogramm\u00a0Applied Machine Learning Academy<\/em>\u00a0(AMA)<\/a>, einem gemeinsamen Projekt mit dem\u00a0Institut f\u00fcr Fertigungstechnik und Werkzeugmaschinen<\/em>\u00a0(IFW) der\u00a0Leibniz Universit\u00e4t Hannover<\/em>. Die Kurse und Veranstaltungen von\u00a0AMA<\/em>\u00a0haben weit \u00fcber 500 Interessenten aus mehr als 200 Unternehmen erreicht. Nun folgt mit\u00a0HAISEM-Lab<\/em>\u00a0ein weiteres Qualifizierungsprojekt, das auf dem Kursangebot und der technischen Infrastruktur von\u00a0AMA<\/em>\u00a0aufbaut. Bei\u00a0HAISEM-Lab<\/em>\u00a0geht es nicht nur um erforderliche Kompetenzen auf dem Gebiet der KI-Methoden, sondern auch um Hardware-basierte KI. Die Entwicklung von KI-Anwendungen auf Hardware stellt die systematische Software-Entwicklung vor neue Herausforderungen. Ein Beispiel: Wie sieht\u00a0ad\u00e4quates Software-Engineering<\/em>\u00a0aus, wenn ein Teil des Verhaltens eines Programms erlernt ist (und bekanntlich auch Fehler macht)? Und welche Spezial-Hardware kann eingesetzt werden, um KI-Anwendungen effizienter zu machen und das Anwendungsspektrum zu erweitern? Hier besteht zus\u00e4tzlicher Forschungs- und Qualifizierungsbedarf, etwa zu Fragen der Wechselwirkung zwischen KI-Modellauswahl, Techniken der Software-Entwicklung und der Umsetzung auf Spezial-Hardware.<\/p><\/p>\r\n

HAISEM-Lab<\/em> offers courses on concepts and methods of AI, machine learning, software development and hardware architectures from 2020. An interdisciplinary team prepares the qualification contents and\r\n develops them further in line with requirements. The courses enable the participants to adapt their AI knowledge to new challenges in the working environment.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

KI-Trainer f\u00fcr KMU<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Und noch ein Angebot unterst\u00fctzt den Mittelstand bei Fragen zur k\u00fcnstlichen Intelligenz: Drei KI-Trainer des\u00a0Mittelstand 4.0-Kompetenzzentrums Hannover<\/em><\/a>\u00a0gehen in die Unternehmen und bieten Informationsgespr\u00e4che und Schulungen an. Sie geben kostenlos und unabh\u00e4ngig einen ersten \u00dcberblick \u00fcber k\u00fcnstliche Intelligenz und wollen sowohl Fach- als auch F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4ften die Scheu vor dem Thema nehmen. Zum fehlenden Fachwissen kommt n\u00e4mlich noch ein weitere H\u00fcrde: die Herausforderung, im eigenen Unternehmen Bereiche zu identifizieren, die vom Einsatz von KI-Methoden profitieren k\u00f6nnen. Mit Vortr\u00e4gen, Roadshows, Firmengespr\u00e4chen und Schulungen unterst\u00fctzt das\u00a0Mittelstand 4.0-Kompetenzzentrum Hannover<\/em>\u00a0kleine und mittlere Unternehmen, um \u00fcber die Potentiale der k\u00fcnstlichen Intelligenz zu informieren, Besch\u00e4ftigte zum Themenbereich zu qualifizieren und vor Ort konkrete KI-Projekte anzusto\u00dfen.<\/p><\/p>\r\n

Hinter dem Mittelstand 4.0-Kompetenzzentrum stehen das Produktionstechnische Zentrum<\/em> (PZH) der Leibniz Universität Hannover<\/em> und das Institut für Integrierte Produktion Hannover<\/em> (IPH).
