Prof. Dr. Judith Christiane Schneider ist Professorin f\u00fcr Versicherungswesen und Risiko an der Leibniz Universit\u00e4t Hannover und Mitglied des Hauses der Versicherung. Zuvor war sie Professorin f\u00fcr Finanzwesen an der Leuphana Universit\u00e4t L\u00fcneburg und Assistenzprofessorin f\u00fcr Finanzwesen an der Universit\u00e4t M\u00fcnster. Judith C. Schneider promovierte an der Universit\u00e4t Duisburg-Essen und studierte Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der Universit\u00e4t Bonn. <\/p>\n

Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen im Bereich Risikomanagement, insbesondere in Bezug auf Robustheit. Ihre Forschung befasst sich auch mit Fragen der Verhaltens\u00f6konomie, wie z. B. Risikowahrnehmung, wirtschaftliche Pr\u00e4ferenzen und die Bedeutung von Informationen bei finanziellen Entscheidungen. Dar\u00fcber hinaus untersucht sie Fragen im Zusammenhang mit finanziellen Entscheidungen von Haushalten, wie z. B. die Rolle von Emotionen bei Investitionsentscheidungen. Diese Fragen werden h\u00e4ufig mithilfe von Modellen, statistischen Methoden f\u00fcr Finanzmarktdaten und \u00f6konomischen Experimenten beantwortet. <\/p>\n

Sie war Gastwissenschaftlerin an der University of Technology Sydney, am INSEAD in Fontainebleau und am California Institute of Technology. Sie ist Mitglied des Editorial Board des Journal of Risk and Insurance. Ihre Arbeiten werden in f\u00fchrenden internationalen Fachzeitschriften wie Management Science, Operations Research, Review of Financial Studies und dem Journal of Risk and Insurance ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
