\n\nThe technical and scientific objectives of the USWA sub-project “Simulator and SDR of DECT-2020 NR for USWA (SimSDR)” are the development of a network simulator for URLLC in a mesh network and the development of a Software\nDefined Radio (SDR) for DECT-2020 NR. Both the network simulator and the SDR will be used to answer the scientific questions of this project, in particular the feasibility and limitations of ultra-low latency connections\nin a meshed topology. The network simulator will be implemented in Matlab and will simulate large and complex networks in different channel conditions, while the technology can be varied at the physical layer.\n\nThe SDR is implemented in C++ and is an implementation of the new DECT-2020 NR standard, which is a promising technology for URLLC in a mesh and is recognized by the ITU as a 5G technology. Neither microchips nor alternative\nSDR implementations are currently available for DECT-2020 NR. The SDR serves as an experimental platform, as a basis for the demonstrators and as a platform for metrological testing and potential extensions of the standard\nas well as the evaluation of integration into a 6G core network.\n\nSimulated results from the network simulator can be transferred to the SDR in order to verify any results using measurement technology. AI methods are to be developed and used to minimize the latency and reliability of the\nSDR.\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
