Johanna, woran arbeitest du gerade?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Derzeit arbeite ich an einem Projekt zur Vorhersage des Ergebnisses von Cochlea-Implantat (CI)-Operationen.<\/p>\r\n

Was findest du an deiner Arbeit besonders spannend?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Since AI outcome prediction is an interdisciplinary project, I work closely with experts from very different fields such as medicine and human genetics. This allows me to expand my personal knowledge beyond my background\r\n as a computer scientist. At the same time, my work here can have a direct and tangible impact on people’s quality of life.<\/p>\r\n

Was hat dich bewogen, zu promovieren?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

In my previous job as a research assistant, I experienced AI in the biomedical field as a fascinating field in a challenging environment with inspiring and highly motivated people. I want to have a positive impact on the\r\n world and people’s lives, and I figured that scientific research is the best way to achieve this.<\/p>\r\n

Was machst du gerne in deiner Freizeit?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Ich bin gerne aktiv. Mein Lieblingssport ist Gewichtheben und ich gehe gerne mit meinen Freunden spazieren.<\/p>\r\n

Was ist dein Lieblingsort in Hannover?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Die Gegend um den Maschsee und den Maschteich, weil man dort sehr gut spazierengehen kann und es im Sommer sch\u00f6ne Veranstaltungen wie das Maschseefest gibt.<\/p>\r\n
