Research Interests

My research primarily focuses on leveraging human intelligence to solve problems that go beyond the capability of machines. You can find my PUBLICATIONS LIST here. I am broadly interested in:

  • Crowdsourcing

  • Human Computation

  • Information Retrieval

  • Web Mining

  • Social Computing

  • Although I am constantly interested in the fields of Human Computation and Crowdsourcing, at the moment I am actively working on 'Understanding Human Factors in Web Search'. In the imminent future, I plan to explore the current challenges in 'Conversational Search and Information Retrieval' as well as the opportunities in the area of 'Collaborative Search'.
